I just went to my doctor and he wants me to change my battery to an Adaptive Precept battery which listens to brain signals in real time and automatically adjusts the stimulation levels up or down based on the patients changing symptom needs to medication levels throughout the day. This new battery by Medtronics came out in January of 2026. Just wanted to know if anyone has it and if it works for you. Thanks Bean

I read about the adaptable devices in Parkinson's News Today. It sounds like a good advance, not having to go back to the doctor to adjust the device. Good luck.
I just have regular dbs, but i recently spoke to the wife of a Parkinson's patient who was going to have that device inplanted and was wasn't happy at all with medtronics customer service. She and I spoke several times and due to how rude they were, chose Abbott with the rechargeable device. I think it would be amazing to have an adjustable dbs device 🤔.
