I took my annual flu shot a few days ago. Two days later I couldn’t get out of bed. I felt like I had the flu. The next one will be Covid and then the pneumococcal immunization. I take one of them every two weeks. I would not dare take two of them at a time. The pharmacist tried two at a time last year. Last year it worked out fine. However, I am much weaker this year. How do you take your annual immunizations?

My husband will get a flu shot, but probably nothing else. He had the pneumonia shot a few years ago and I think it is supposed to last, not need to be renewed every year. He had the original Covid shots and one booster, but hasn't had one since. We both got Covid after being vaccinated, but very mild cases. We aren't around people much, so don't get a lot of exposure.
Dorothy, the preservatives in the food, the air smog we breathe, the chemical spills, the radiation from the sun, the medications we take, the vaccines we give our children, the supplements, the building materials in homes, so many things to question these days. Stay safe, Kay
Hi Gordon, I take all of my immunizations together in the fall and have never had a problem. I am undecided on Covid, It hasn’t done me any harm but I am concerned when I hear that so many others have had problems with it. I want to stay as healthy as possible and do the best for myself but I worry about cognitive decline because of other drugs I have been given and want to avoid that.😘
I just got my flu shot last week and didn’t have any side effects! I still have a couple of years until my pneumonia shot will be time for it. I have gotten all the Covid shots each year. I have not had any side effects with any of my shots. For someone who catches things easily I feel prepared to get the protection I need. I have had several friends who refused to protect themselves are gone now. I even had a doctor who would not quit seeing patients and died of Covid. I have had double pneumonia twice and spent days in the hospital. I learned my lesson and get my shots when they are due each year. Life is too precious to take chances on my health.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, The more I learn about vaccines the more I avoid them like a plague; exactly like a plague. I can't fin the article that I saved to read later. It was from a reputable source, I simply didn't have time then... Anyway, it was about how vaccinated people can spread the measles. The point that seized my attention about 6 years ago or so, is that Pharma cannot be sued for "vaccines injuries." We can sue for an injury caused by anything else under the jurisdiction of the FDA, but not vaccines because in 1985 or 1986 (I can't remember which) Pharma was given "qualified immunity" for any vaccines.
