Members connected over the shared struggle of middle-of-the-night wakefulness, with many describing a frustrating cycle of falling asleep early and waking up unable to get back to sleep. Several members shared what has helped them, including working with a doctor over several months to find the right sleep medication, alternating melatonin with low-dose Trazodone or THC gummies, and using a TV sleep timer to drift back off. A recurring theme was finding comfort in small routines like watching TV or having a snack, and encouraging each other not to give up.

The best thing I started and do every time I wake up is to set the sleep timer to turn tv off ! Sometimes I fall asleep and sometimes I don’t but many times I wake up with tv off I never know how long I had been asleep but I like to think it’s been a good sleep !

I'm used to be awake at 1am and 2:30 am then 4am then6am and up for work! I know these times because my clock shines the time on the ceiling above the bed but now I alternate 35 mg Trazadon and 15 mg melatonin then 1/4 THC gummy and melotonin the next night and I have been achieving usually 6 hours sleep.

My Dr put me on Trazadone with gabapentin (100mg and 200mg) which -- most nights -- keep me asleep for 7 hours. Sleep is definitely a common problem. Talk to your doctor about it.
