We bought a Tesla about 18 months ago. We use self driving feature, and it has been a game changer for both of us. Although you have to pay attention and you have to take control of the car in very rare circumstances, it is proven to be safe and allows us to travel the distance to good medical care.
My SIL is a Lyft driver. She uses a self-driving Tesla.
My doc already yanked my drivers license. So now I have to depend on my support team or rides shares to get where I need to. It’s so frustrating!!!
That’s why I’m researching this so thoroughly I want to be safe for everyone and keep on keepin on !
Right now I am ok driving but don’t want to push it more than 30 minutes or so. I am concerned about getting tired from driving so I only do the short trips on my own. I want the self driven cars to get a bit more experience before I venture that way.
