i lost a dramatic amount of muscle over a two year recovery from orthopedic injuries-just sitting around the house. i became phobic about falling since i have osteopenia and was take blood thinners for afib. I addressed the latter problem by getting a Watchman implant to reduce stroke risk without blood thinners.

I am gradually becoming more active and will start interval training as well as add an amino acid supplement to my diet. At 78 I donโ€™t expect a muscle miracle but research shows it is possible to regain muscle at any age.

Muscle wasting is a normal process with aging. Exercise at best is way to slow down PDโ€™โ€™s progression. Our brains also shrink beginning in our 40s. Keep boxing, it does actual good.

Where I come from you wouldn't refer to someone of Les's stature as 'Dude' ! I think 'Sir' would be more fitting ! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„
