Some MyParkinsonsTeam members have reported experiencing pain and unusual sensations that shoot down their arms, particularly when dealing with inflamed nerves in the shoulder and neck area. These sensations may be worse during cold weather, which can increase stiffness and discomfort in the hands and fingers. Some people report their hands becoming particularly stiff or "frozen" in the morning or during cold temperatures, which can be accompanied by tingling sensations as movement returns to the affected areas.
