Consider describing your symptoms to your neurologist. ( I usually type my observations, concerns, and questions for the doctor, and he seems appreciative. I include my medication schedule so that he stays focused and has everything at hand.)
You might first determine if
you stay sufficiently hydrated throughout the whole day. Also, a banana a day may keep “Dr, Neuro” away.
Years ago right before bedtime I would begin to feel as if I were about to crawl out of my skin. While not painful, the sensation was intensely uncomfortable. I have been taking 1 mg of ropinirole (Requip) for 20 +\- years.. This minimal strength dose continues to be effective and economical—a rarity in the Parkie world.
I have the same problem but I don’t exercise yet. I take Ropinarole and muscle relaxers. They sometimes help.

Have y'all checked this might be Restless Leg Syndrome. I take Ropinirole ER 2mg and I would walk over hot coals to make sure I don't run out of them!!
That's pretty much the same for my legs too, @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, but for me, the pain started when I was 30; se 36 years ago. It just gets worse.
