They ranged from pet size dark shapes to colorful full sized figures. Appearing often during the days. As my depression continued the doctor changed my medicine to a unique antidepressive called EFFEXOR. Since raking 75mg a day, I have not had a hallucination. I was shocked. I kind of miss them. I haven’t told the doctor yet. Has anyone else had the same experience?

Hallucinations occur when a person sees, hears, feels, smells, or tastes something that doesn’t exist. Hallucinations happen when a person is awake — they are not dreams. People may be aware that they are experiencing a hallucination while it’s happening or realize it shortly after. This is called “retaining insight.”
Losing insight — failing to realize something is a hallucination — can cause agitation and can also lead to falls or other accidents.

My husbands hallucinations are increasing and Neurologist recommends Nuplazid. Would appreciate any input.
D, someone else I know told me that but I had way the record. I do now and that’s a great idea! Thank you. Between you and Janet my mind is working. I know how to stop it from happening again.
Hello, husband was experienced hallucinations, due to side effect of Mir-apex 3.00MG pill. Hallucinations were against me, seeing me having conversations in the middle of the night with a man. He kept waking me up and steering at me with a very deep look, that frightened me so much. Has anyone experienced something similar? and what to do?
Seroquel was prescribed for me; it’s a small dose but works quite well.
