My neurologist says I have DIP. Does anybody else out there have the same diagnosis? I would like to hook up with fellow DIPper to compare medications that might be suspect. My doctor suspects Vraylar, Lithium, and Clonazepam the latter of which I'm weaning off now.

My husband was told by one doctor that it was Parkinsonism from a bad fall. He is treated the same as Parkinson's. It is very hard to find information that separates the difference of the two.
Every search I do for Parkinsonism it goes to Parkinson’s.

Parkinsonism is suppose to be worse than just PD. It is more involved with your movement mobility, so they say...

I agree but had to do that on my own. Have two siblings that are MDs that helped me eliminate medications that could be problematic.

Low doses of DXM are beneficial for PD. Higher doses (like the ones found in cough syrup) are detrimental. Neurologist =1 PR = 0
The Lemon Tea and Whiskey sound like the best alternative.
