My wife thinks I have short term memory loss but I call it selective memory and if I don't remember it it never happened right?
I also have short term memory loss, getting worse. I've had pd a little over a year!
My husband has had the DBS for 4 1/2 years. It didn't cause him any memory loss. It is only now that he has really started to decline.

The last two weeks I am having trouble with my short term memory. I am constantly forgetting and losing things. Seems I spend most days looking for things. It has never been this bad. Also, my anxiety level has increased around the same time. Have had no med change. My stress level has increased a lot due to family drama. Could stress cause these fairly dramatic changes or maybe developing a immunity to current medication.
Stress can precipitate dramatic upticks in symptoms.
My husband was prescibed the weed by his pain mgmt. dr. Tremors imporove how ever he shows short term memory loss and confusion.
