I had the DBS surgeries last June, and because they were two weeks apart, I just left my dentures (partials top and bottom). When I was through the surgeries, and healing very nicely, I couldn't get them to stay in my mouth!!
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Hi Becky. I can't say that I know anyone else who has had their dentures not fit after DBS. Perhaps there's another member of this team that has had it happen to them or… read more

Has anyone had success with these two supplements? If so, could you please let me know what dosage you take and how you administer it, as well as what symptoms it seems to alleviate for you? I'd like my dad to give them a try. Thanks!
Thank you, Sterling! We will give it a try.

My husband who had stem cell surgery on his knee (and it worked) is now going for stem cell surgery on the other knee. He thinks stem cell surgery is the next big thing for diseases on the horizon. Of course… read more
I'm interested in this as well in the future.
I am having an awful time with heartburn and gastric reflux and it seems like I have it for 24/7. Does anyone else have the same problem
I, too, had some problems with digestion and spent a lot of time either in the bathroom because of something I ate, or was living on acid reduction pills because of the heart burn. I had gone to a… read more
I quit smoking 2 years ago...but with 2 siblings with Parkinson's...I'm worried...I was even thinking of doing electronic cigs....altho I hate the thought of the addiction.
I quit smoking over 9 or more years ago, but I chew nicotine gum all this time my DRS day it won't hurt me. It helps me to not drool and it gives me a boost. Nicotine others are okay too!
