I’m 56 and started receiving disability. I think I’ll become Medicare eligible. Does anyone know that timeframe?
You’d think I’d be able to find that answer, but I gave up wading through the SSA website.
I got Medicare just a month after being approved for SSDI. There was a lot of paperwork involved, but the folks at my local SS office were very helpful.
How Long After your Parkinson's Diagnosis Were you Still Working? Did you try and hide your Parkinson's from your employer? Did you leave the job on your own accord or were you "Let Go"?
I'm still working but I fear my days are numbered. I've fallen at work a couple of times. And I fear I'm becoming a liability for them..
