I’m 56 and started receiving disability. I think I’ll become Medicare eligible. Does anyone know that timeframe?
You’d think I’d be able to find that answer, but I gave up wading through the SSA website.

I got Medicare just a month after being approved for SSDI. There was a lot of paperwork involved, but the folks at my local SS office were very helpful.
